[Gist] Woman Pours Hot Water On Uniabuja Student Dating Her Daughter

A female resident of Giri in the outskirts of Abuja have on Wednesday 14th of August, 2019 poured hot water on a male student of Uniabuja (name withheld) who happens to be the boyfriend of her daughter.

According to sources and eye witnesses, the woman who committed the offence invited the guy over to her house in pretence that she wanted to have a word with him over the fact that she has warned him to stop dating her daughter. Only for the guy to get to the house, to have  the woman pour him just boiled hot water and started shouting thief.

Other residents and people who arrived the scene found the male student lying helplessly on the floor.  The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital by students around him where he is currently receiving treatment.

In an interview with the SUG Spokesperson (Comr. Ozioma Oguine), he said: "The President on behalf of the Union have informed the VC, CSO and all relevant bodies so that action can be taken immediately".

He further stated that: " An injury to one is an injury to all, so as such justice must be served for our student". 

At the time of writing this report investigations are still ongoing on the issue and results are assured to be revealed soon.
